Turbines 'do not lower quality of life'

Re: the Sheephouse Heights report of September 10:
The ‘Protect Sheephouse Heights’ group seems to be associating any noise from wind turbines with that of the noise of silage and grain silos. Having heard both, I can say that silage and grain silos are very annoying and lower the quality of life for anyone living near to them, but wind turbines do not.
Heavy agricultural activity, as at this time of year, causes a lot of noise, but this wouldn’t be classed as a nuisance.
The Protect Sheephouse Heights people are coming to seem like being objectors for objection’s sake.
