It's playtime!

CALLING all big kids, little kids and grown up kids. It’s time to play!
Hillsborough Park will be full of fun on Wednesday August 5, when children from all over the city get together to play all day for Play Day.
Over 40 different free activities will be on offer, organised by Sheffield City Council, including an ice rink, a climbing tower, water slide and a ‘gladiator joust’.
There’s even a mascot race with over 15 different mascots from across South Yorkshire.
Cllr Sylvia Dunkley, Cabinet Member for Culture, Sport and Tourism from Sheffield City Council, who will be opening the event, said: “Play Day is full of fun for all children, big or small, and grown up ones too!
“And if you’re looking for a good way to fill your children’s time next Wednesday, why not take them along.
“Making sure there’s enough time and space for our children to play freely is really important, especially in our busy modern lives. So come along and enjoy the fun on Wednesday.”
Play Day is an annual event, and this year’s Play Day is expected to be even bigger and better than before.
Play Day is happening on Wednesday August 5 in Hillsborough Park from 11am to 4pm.
